The Blowout is the annual gathering of the Bagpipe Society but welcomes non-members too.  

It is held at the Memorial Hall and St Editha’s Abbey in Polesworth, Warks, B78 1DU. 

Next year’s Blowout celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Bagpipe Society. The main focus is on bagpiping with workshops for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced players (some loan instruments are available for beginners), but there is also a workshop for hurdy-gurdy.

Free concert at the Abbey (7:30pm Sat evening);  followed by Bal Folk (9-12pm) on Saturday evening.
